About Rachelle Rachelle Miller, candidate for Spokane County Commissioner District 4
Rachelle Miller
LICSW · MSW, Eastern Washington University · BA, University of Montana

A commitment to accountable, functional government.

Rachelle Miller grew up in Spokane and is raising her family here. Between hockey rinks and hiking trails, her kids are growing up in the same community she did. She is running to make sure it stays that way.

As a private business owner and Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Rachelle Miller has spent over 20 years showing up for her friends, neighbors, and clients. She knows the hard work it takes to be successful and is particularly adept at solving complex problems with her direct, no-nonsense approach.

Rachelle Miller has spent her career navigating bureaucracies on behalf of people who have no one else in their corner. She knows how institutions work, how they resist accountability, and how to make them answer for it anyway. That is exactly the skill set our County Commissioner requires.

She has led region-wide teams through quality assurance and accreditation, helped clinicians develop their practice through the Internal Family Systems Institute, and earned multiple awards for leadership and innovation from the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services. Her work has consistently been about the same thing: helping institutions align with the people they exist to serve. Isn't it time we had a County Commissioner who ensured the county served its residents first?

She is running because Spokane County's water, land, and power belong to the people who live here, and to the generations that come after us.

A commitment to accountable, functional government.
